Our Founder

Nekketta M. Archie, Esq. is the Managing Attorney and Owner of Archie Law PLLC. She is a transplant from the West Texas Panhandle who is focused and true to herself. She currently serves as Treasurer of the African American Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Texas.

TMSL

Attorney Archie received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Grambling State University and received her juris doctorage degree from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law (TMSL). She also graduated with honors. She was Vice President of the Student Bar Association at TMSL, a published author and researcher, and Executive Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review.

In 2017, Attorney Archie received the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award at Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition at St. John's University.

Community Involvement

Attorney Archie serves on the Board of The Unforgotten First Foundation (TUFF), a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring and educating young African American males via leadership and development programs.

She currently serves as the Vice President of the DLW Houston Chapter of Grambling University Alumni Association, where she is Chair of the Programs Committee. Attorney Archie is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and life member of Women Professionals in Government.
